I'm brand new to photography. I take pictures, I do some primitive editing. The thing is I'm still exploring the potential of what I'm doing, and I don't have a good idea of what I consider art yet. When I'm drawing, I know what I like and what I don't and what's my best and what's my worst. Photography I feel like I can't tell, and I'm not even sure if that's because of the nature of the medium or because I'm new to it. Photographers will tell you about the work that goes into the art, and it's true there are approaches that are extremely intensive, but let's face it: it's easier to take a picture of something than it is to draw it.
